2011/12 Treva eats Minos Indoor Soccer League

The League

The TEMISL is a one of a kind soccer league featuring the greatest soccer talents ever assembled from the far, far east of Toronto. The league owes its name to its founding fathers: Minos - a guy we haven't seen in a while and presumed he died because of his Mixed Martial Arts and womanizing ways, and Treva! - a Mathematical Genius who happens to play a mean game of Footie. 

The TEMISL is composed of 4 teams; the Reds (Commies), Yellows (Imperial Japan), Whites (sun-starved English), and Blues (Live with Mama Italians).

The Post Game Press Conference...

Every night after the game, you are invited to the Green Dragon Pub-, the home of the beautiful bartender Tonya, for some post game refreshments and some chow. Remember, no Goils allowed!

The Season - Fall and Winter sessions

The TEMISL season includes 2 sessions; the Fall session and the Winter session. Each session consists of 12 rounds with each round featuring 2 games.

Rules

The winner of each session (team with the most points) claims the Treva! cup for the Fall session, and the Minos cup for the Winter session.

If teams have the same amount of points at the conclusion of each session, the following factors will be used as tie-brakers:

1. # of wins
2. goal differential
3. goals scored

Where teams are still not able to be separated, the following tie-breakers are used:

1. greater number of points obtained in matches between the tied teams
2. goal difference in matches between the tied teams
3. greater number of goals scored in matches between the tied teams

The Scoring Leader (for each session)

The player with the most goals wins bragging rights and the envy of his peers.
