With team White captain Ticha forced to the sidelines due to injury, he watched his team loose grip of this one early on and give up chance after chance, the end result could have been worse than the 7-2 final score.
The Blues were back to full strength with James returning to action after missing the Game against Yellow in round 2. The scoring started early after a give and go passing move drilled in from distance from Paul. Next to find a gap thru the White defence was John with another 1- 2 move again from long range, Blues up 2-0 after 10 mins.
Ex-Captain Guy starting in net had seen enough and decided to pull himself from the goal to lead the team forward resulting in pulling one back at the 18 min mark. This was followed by an own goal from Adrian which deflated an already down on their luck White side, Blues 3-1. Then a confusing play in the White penalty area after a hand ball which few saw but in a sporting gesture the Whites called, the resulting spot kick was rifled onto the roof of the net by Captain Mowbs, Blues up 4-1.
Then the game deciding error after Mauro took a back pass from his defensive partner and seemed to panic after being closed down by Captain Mowbs , giving up the ball for Mowbs to go in on the goalie all alone making no mistake with the finish, 5-1. The Whites did pull one back after Guy’s never say die attitude and determination led to their second, but too little too late and with time and White energy running out, Captain Ticha was forced to see his side give up another 2 goals in the final 5 minutes by Tytus and James to make the final result 7-2.
