Yellow manages to hold on and beat Blue 1 nil, in a defensive slug fest. Good news from this match is nobody really got injured. Not the best looking Barca-style game of quick one twos --- one Yellow player even committed at times it looked like a tennis match.

However there was some quality as Dean was assisted by Trevor. Arguably one of most beautiful goals of the season. Trevor caught an er rend goal kick from Ken to find Dean down low in the right corner.
Dean with great composure dribbles a goal in after beating both the Blue keeper and defender in that order. Well Done Dean --- Definitely the Man of the match.

Result: Yellow 1 Blue 0
Scoring: Yellow Dean assisted by Trevor --- Dean man of the match

Both sides created chances but Yellow seemed to find the target more often than Blue. Yellow goalie Andrew was really not too challenged but when he was came up big as usual.
Blue Keeper Tim's game should also be mentioned as very well played. Yellow was able to create (1 on keeper) chances were Tim came up huge to stop yours truly. This captain got great service from multiple player on Yellow and could not convert. One chance I should have scored easily but Tim closed down my angle so quickly I ended up kicking right off him.

For Yellow Seamus and Jon were a huge back line --- stopping, sweeping and tackling hard all night long. Trevor, Hans & Greg played midfielder and defense shifting in as required. Patrick and Dean played striker.

It was a really good match from an effort exerted from all players ---- all players playing to win! ;)
