Yellow holds on to beat Red 1 nil

Great match last week in the TEMIS league as Yellow faced Blue in game 9. It really could have gone either way with each team producing chances. Oleg for Blue had one hit the cross bar at a rockets pace which if just 4 inches lower would have made tied the match.

Trevor's goal was a pretty one finishing quite well from the top of the area. Yellow Team Captain got his corner kick served back had the presence of mind to spot Trevor in space.

Jan made a great save on Dean which looked me to be hitting the lower right corner but Jan's left hand came up big. Red's game in general was played very well. Great builds from the back with Nic and Gary F. Mtu especially carried the ball very nicely both in space and in traffic.

Seamus and Jon played a very strong defense. Seamus gave Andrew a break in goal --- allowing Andrew to have a few great shots on target but Jan always seemed to be in the right spot in Net.

Dean played well, Greg played well, Jimmy was not up to his usuall point production coming off a 2 week break.... still held his own.

Great playing by both teams --- it really could have gone either way.

Just glad we were able to come out on top.
