Yellow overrun by the Red Tide --- 6 to 2

Red was clearly the better team on Friday versus Yellow. The triangle of Jimmy, Oleg and Greg were having their way against Yellow.

Jimmy in particular ran into space continuously with Oleg never giving up on any ball inside the Yellow half. Jimmy had 3 goals Oleg 2 and Greg 1.
Greg's goal had to be one of the prettiest with him looking right with a faked pass to Jimmy ... but then hits a left footer from about 18 yards curling around the defender who was screening Yellow's keeper to find the back of the net just inside the right post. Well done.
For Yellow Paul's shear desire to score --- allowed some saving of face by knotting 2 goals both unassisted from pretty tuff angles. Paul also had a couple of good opportunities with his head but were just slightly off the mark.

This game could have easily been 6 to 6 or 8 to 5 --- with both teams having chances that were unlucky and the keepers coming up big.

Team Yellow had plenty of shots on target but most seemed to hit the Red's keeper.

Team Yellow starting slow just like last season but should start to find its form this week against White!

Well played RED.
