Competition. Without it there would be no fire, there would be no wheel, and we would make do with bread and water rather than feasting on wings and beer... It is competition which has lured man from the cave, to the open plains and yes to the hallowed ground: the pitch.
On Jan 20, 2012 the soccer world waited in footy wonder. Who would prove worthy of the TEMISL CUP?!?! After a hard fought season the Evil Blue Giants and the good looking, nay, great looking, Nice Guys Yellow Bastards were virtually in a dead heat!
Because of the slightest of leads in head to head matches the task at hand was simple. Win the last game...and the Blue Balls would have to total an extra goal to rip victory from the Yellow Caution. The stage was set. Game on!
Jimmy 'two shoes' opened the scoring for Yellow Belly's, and took over the league Boot D'or. Mutu tied for the talented but 3rd in the table Red Menace. Dean 'which way to Toronto' got the all important second to put Yellow ahead. Andrew 'put me in coach I'm ready to score made it 3-1 and Patrick 'money' potted the 4th. Final score 4-1 Yellow Streak! Blue needed to win by 4...but alas they fell short.
Yellow went from worst to first coming together as a team. Kudos to Kapitan Hans, Andrew, Jon, Greg, Trevor, Costa, Patrick, Dean, and special mention to Jimmy with a league leading 10 goals and Seamus who is 3 for 3 in TEMISL wins. Congrats! And thank you Jeff, Tito and Guy. Great Job on the indoor league!

Yellow v Red 4 to 1 the final (It could have been 5 to 1 but the PK was ruled against because it should have been taken 3 yards from the spot--- but was not --- Hence Jimmy's PK was dis allowed)
